Josh joined Baylor College of Medicine in 2023 as a Research Technician in the lab of  Dr. Margaret Goodell, where he is studying the mechanisms of HOX gene regulation by mutant NPM1 in acute myeloid leukemia alongside Gandhar Datar in a collaborative project with the Riback lab to facilitate super-resolution imaging of associated processes. After completing his work at BCM, Josh aims to pursue a graduate degree studying RNA in the context of cancer biology. Outside of the lab, he enjoys baking, cooking, brewing specialty coffee, Dungeons and Dragons, and spending time with his fiancé.
