Caleb Rosenblad

I am a graduate student that is a member of both the Riback and Mustoe Labs. I aim to understand how ribosomal RNA folds as it moves through the nucleolus. If we can characterize ribosome biogenesis, we can use this model to study its dysregulation in various ribosomopathies. I graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in December of 2021 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. There I worked in a lab studying a process in populations of bacteria known as quorum sensing. I did additional work finding alternatives to HPLC in analytical chemistry. My goal is to become a professor who regularly teaches and does research. I like to read, cook, hike, run, and have good conversations in my free time.
